Abstract

3D scan of a Hammond typewriter (No. 12) with and without cover, “Ideal visible Hammond”, formerly used in the Geological & Paleontological department of the Natural History Museum. The typewriter is named after its inventor James Bartlett Hammond (1839–1913). The first Hammond typewriters were produced in 1881, the company based in New York existed until the 1930s.
